The last 38 years have been an amazing ride. Family and friends, travels and hundreds of hairstyles. Of those, the Afro is my favorite. It’s so free and charismatic. This year (2015-2016), starting the day after my 38th birthday, I will create 365 Afros. It was fortuitous – or perhaps divine – that I came across “Skull-A-Day” by Noah Scalin while out for my birthday. I was immediately inspired. In fact, I have about 50 ideas already floating in my head, but as with life, I will take it one day at a time. My goal is to create 365 Afros using different materials or discovering different ways of using familiar materials for each day.

I love it! Please drop me a line so I can share it on my site.

Oh, I didn’t even know about this other site. Amazing. I’m going to check it out. And thank you, thank you and thank you again for your wonderful book (my son and I still enjoy looking at it) and being an inspiration to others.
